Old Town San Diego
Just north of downtown San Diego you will find Old Town San Diego, the first European settlement in California. Step back in time as you stroll past the historic area.s original buildings and over 15 museums. You can see ladies making fresh tortillas as you wander through some of the 150 shops.

Gaslamp Quarter
Downtown San Diego's Gaslight Quarter is the place to go for great shopping, amazing restaurants and an exciting nightlife. The neighborhood covers 16 blocks and is a mix of sleek, modern architecture and historic Victorian buildings. Museums, historic tours and over 100 retails shops will keep you busy during the day. When the sun sets, be prepared to stay out all night at the different nightclubs, bars and music venues.

USS Midway Museum
For an adventure that the whole family will love check out the USS Midway Museum, located in downtown San Diego. Set on one of America's longest-serving aircraft carriers, the museum will let you experience life at sea with a self-guided tour narrated by Midway sailors. There are over 60 exhibits and 27 restored aircrafts to explore and for the more adventurous types there is a flight simulator.

Legoland
Legoland has immaculate grounds and focuses on interactive, educational attractions. Rides tend to be catered toward younger kids but all the young at heart who still love Legos will also enjoy a visit. Lost Kingdom Adventure is a must-visit ride; using laser guns you blast targets through out the ride and there is also an impressive 16-foot Lego pharaoh.

Sea World
Sea World, located in Mission Bay, is the marine park that can be both educational and fun. Do not miss the exhibits such as the Wonders of the River, which features some of the largest freshwater fish in the world. If you stay after dark you might be treated to the seasonal fireworks.
